It's FallThe season of wisdomwhere we attaincolors of great knowledgeand darker shades of fearThe confusing temperaturesOne Spring dayOne Winter daybalanced back and forthto shock us intotemperance and equanimityThe sun is majesticas it glares throughthe vibrant shadesof windblown leavesas they leave theircolorful hueson the bare shufflinggroundThe birds are migratingThey flow in and out ofthe sceneryAs we endure the beautyWe can see the longpermanence of impermanenceLike life and deathfrom transience to eternityThere's too much timeBut there's not enough timeWe're listless as the WinterapproachesShowing its chilling andcolorless humbling of life...

The Singing wilderness
Sigurd F .Olson April 1956 U.S
"Some years later I discovered a stand of virgin forest known as theNorthwest Corner. Here were tremendous trees, the last of the oldprimeval stand, and on the ground huge moss-covered logs soft and spongywith decay. This spot was different from any other I had known.......Iused to tiptoe into that timber and creep stealthily from bole to bole, thrilled with strange and indefinable sensations, some of fear and someof wonder and delight. Those ancient trees, the green-gold twilightamong them, the silence of that cushioned place did something to myboyish soul which I have never forgotten."
